I’m not a very good cook. When I was living by myself I ate lots of ready made meals and fast food. The vending machine I drew is to represent how I see food. Something already produced and ready to be eaten straight away. That is why I call this illo ‘Urban hunter and gatherer’. Because whenever I’m hungry I go around hunting at the most convenience places and vending machines for food.
